The coventry city center isnt much of a shopper or browsers (me) paradise, but its not too bad. I mean when you just need to go out and see whats new, something other than ur laptop screen then why not, i went to the cc (city center)... The Lady shown in my picture is Lady Godiva. So you dont have to google it, i shall copy paste googled info abt this right here.
Godiva (Old English: Godgifu, "god gift"), often referred to as Lady Godiva (fl. 1040-1080), was an Anglo-Saxon noblewoman who, according to legend, rode naked through the streets of Coventry, in England, in order to gain a remission of the oppressive taxation imposed by her husband on his tenants. The name "Peeping Tom" for a voyeur originates from later versions of this legend in which a man named Tom had watched her ride and was struck blind or dead. (ouch!)
